Long, soft blade leaves protruding from the center of teardrop-shaped bulbs. Bulbs generally remains above ground the soil line. Mature bulbs will produce bulblets around, and on the side of mature bulbs. Flowers emerge in Northern Hemisphere's Spring before dormancy in Summer. Called "Pregnant Onion" because it resembles an onion...that's pregnant(?) hahaha...
