Aloe antandroi

Native range: Southern Madagascar

Known names: N/A

Hardiness: Best above freezing, can take light frost.

Mature Size: ~2' Tall, ~3' Wide

Light: Best in at least 3 hours of direct sun - Full sun (except for desert areas).

Water: Let soil dry out for about a week before rewatering. Less water in hot months.

Soil: Fast-draining, holds moisture well but fast-draining. Add extra pumice or pearlite into potting mix.

Plant Size: Grown in 4" pot

 

Very thin leaves, narrow leaves that can grow to about 6" long. Stems will start to prostrate, so if you desire an upright plant, staking is recommended. Dark orange flowers appear on inflorescence in late summer and into autumn. Turns dusky brown when stressed.
