Aloe erinacea

Native range: Namibia (severely endangered)

Known names: Locally known as "Goree", Aloe melanacantha var. erinacea

Hardiness: Best above 40°F

Mature Size: May be 12" tall in YEARS, forms clusters 

Light: At least 5 hours of sun, full sun

Water: Water when soil completely dries, don't water much during winter, try avoiding watering during the middle of extreme heat. 

Soil: Fast-draining. 

Dormancy Period: Winter

Pet-Safe: No

Plant Size: Grown in 4" pot, shipped bare root.

 

Very small species of Aloe with long wavy teeth. Soft to the touch. Very slow, rosette growing.
