Rosette-forming perennial with shorter, wider ribbon-shaped leaves than the classic spider plant, striped green down the center and edged with various thickness of creamy white. Sends up slender arching stems bearing small, star-shaped white flowers, followed by plantlets that dangle off the ends. A compact cultivar bred for its bolder variegation and leaves... less sprawling habit compared to standard spider plants. Commonly grown in a hanging basket or raised container with well-draining, humus-rich soil and moderate watering.
Though pet friendly, can have hallucinogenic affect on cats.
