Known names: Nootka Cedar, Alaska Cedar, Yellow Cedar (also known under the genus: Chamaecyparis)

Light: Half-day sun, variegated parts might burn in full sun.

Water: Frequent water until established, keep soil moist in pots.

Soil: Fast-draining, holds moisture well but fast-draining. Add extra pumice or pearlite into potting mix.

Cupressus nootkatensis 'Sparkling Arrow' is fascinating in every way. It grows tall but only remains around 1' across! The variegation is very evenly distributed throughout the tree. Color is stable with different ammount of sunlight.
