This is the national tree of India! Thick, glossy, oval leaves. This ficus produces arial roots in tropical climates that can become thick trunks once it hits the ground.
Fun Fact: Many Ficus benghalensis can be found with a hollow core. This species can grow on and around and eventually overwhelm other trees, causing the "host tree" to die and decay in the middle of the Ficus.
