Glossy, oval, variegated leaves with a semi weeping growth habit. Stem callouses. Slender green stem when young but as the plant matures, the main trunk thickens and develops a smooth, grayish-brown bark that may become slightly rough with age.
Ficus benjaminas are known to be a little finnicky when moved; it can defoliate when moved from brighter-to-lower light so don't panic too much if your plant loses some leaves after a move. Just try to not relocate too often!
