Tubular bromedliad with brown foliage, colors up more with higher light. Leaves are speckled with white and serrated on the sides. New pups form from the base. Allow water to collect in the center cup BUT flush it out occasionally to prevent stagnantation. Flower inflorescens appears from the center in mid spring.
