Hoya finlaysonii ‘Chicken Farm’ is named for being discovered in 1997 near a chicken coop in Tenom, Sabah, Borneo It is a climbing epiphytic plant with thick, elongated leaves marked by dark green venation over a lighter green background. The foliage is stiff, slightly glossy, and strongly textured, giving it a rugged, patterned look, with leaves spaced along firm stems. The flowers form rounded umbels of star-shaped blooms with burnt orange petals and a pale corona
