Monstera sp. ‘Esqueleto’ is of unknown species and/or hybrid though it can resemble epipremnoides, and can be mistaken for the popular adansonii at a younger age. It is a fast-growing climbing aroid with very large, thin leaves. Its mature leaves develop extensive fenestration (holes) and splits that increase as the plant climbs. Indoors it can reach several feet tall when given a pole for support. In good conditions the leaves can grow over two feet long.
