Nepenthes ampullaria ‘Black Miracle’ is a lowland pitcher plant known for its deep purple to almost black pitchers. Its rounded, bulbous traps often cluster tightly on the forest floor while also producing traps on higher leaves.
Unlike many Nepenthes, it mainly feeds on fallen debris and detritus rather than insects.
Lowland species prefer hot and humid conditions.
