Nepenthes × ventrata is a fairly vigorous tropical pitcher plant with elongated, lance-shaped green leaves that extend into curling tendrils at their tips. These tendrils develop into hanging pitchers that are tubular at the bottom and narrower toward the top, often colored light green flushed with red, pink, or burgundy speckling. The pitchers feature a flared rim (peristome) and a small lid above the opening. Peristome can be sticky to lure insects and other creatures. Climbing type.
