Peperomia clusiifolia has thick, oblong to paddle-shaped leaves with smooth edges and a fleshy, succulent texture. The foliage is typically deep green with a subtle glossy surface, and many forms show a reddish tint along the margins or undersides. Flower stalk resembles rat tails.
