Flat, evergreen rosette of broad, sticky, lime-green leaves that trap gnats and fruit flies on both surfaces. Sends up a tall flower stalk with a single pale lilac to purple bloom, typically flowering in the warmer growing months. The largest known Mexican butterwort, it stays evergreen year-round rather than forming a winter resting bud. Commonly grown in a peat/perlite mix with bright indirect light and consistently moist, never soggy, soil.
