Upright, bushy succulent with small, round, fleshy leaves edged in creamy white against reddish-brown stems that turn gray with age. Produces small, star-shaped pink flowers in clusters at branch tips, typically blooming in late spring to early summer, though it flowers less freely than the standard green form. A slower-growing variegated form of the already slow-growing species, and slightly thirstier than most succulents. Commonly grown in fast-draining soil with pumice or perlite, bright light, and allowed to dry out between waterings.
