Stapelia grandiflora is a stem succulent known for its star-shaped flowers that can reach up to 10 inches across. The blooms are deep red to purple and textured with fine hairs, giving them a wild, otherworldly look (kinda monster-like). While beautiful, they emit a rotten scent to attract pollinating flies...making it a conversation piece. Its thick, cactus-like stems do not produce spines.
