Banana leaf-shaped glossy leaves on sturdy herbaceous stem. White and greyish purple flowers resembling a bird in-flight (or a bird's head...whichever...) . Won't flower unless the plant recieves at least 6 hours of direct sunlight. If not, you will have yourself a nice potentially-large flowerless plant
