Sprawling, trailing plant (often grown as a hanging plant) with thick, fleshy stems and olive green leaves densely covered in fine, white cobweb-like hairs. Produces small, three-petaled magenta-pink flowers, typically blooming in summer. Native to arid, rocky habitat in Mexico, it's more drought-tolerant than most other tradescantias and its woolly coating intensifies with brighter light. Commonly grown in a gritty, well-draining mix with bright light and allowed to dry out fully between waterings.
