Zealandia pustulata (formerly Microsorum pustulatum, and before that it was Polypodium pustulatum ) is a creeping fern with leathery, elongated fronds that range from narrow and strap-like to irregularly lobed depending on the plant. The frond is medium to darker green with a glossy surface, and mature fronds often display raised bumps or textured sori on the undersides that give the species its name pustulata. Fronds arise from a creeping rhizome that spreads across surfaces including soil and tree trunks.
